Organizing a corporate outing for 80 team members can feel overwhelming, but our recent stay at North Deodar Camps & Resort in Kasol made everything effortless. On the morning of June 13, 2025, our Supreme Technologies team from Mohali arrived early to a warm welcome and an energizing breakfast. The lush Himalayan setting was the perfect backdrop to relax and recharge before our adventure-filled day.

Guided Chalal–Katagla Trail Walk

Post-breakfast, we took some time to unwind before embarking on a much-anticipated trail walk to Chalal and Katagla villages. The resort arranged an experienced guide, ensuring the entire group stayed engaged and safe while soaking in the stunning riverside scenery. After two hours of easy trekking, we reached Kasol Market, where our tempo travellers were ready for the next leg of our journey.

Spiritual Stop at Manikaran Sahib

Our trip then took us to Manikaran Sahib for langar prasad—a heartwarming and soulful experience. Some of us enjoyed a refreshing dip in the famed natural hot springs. This unique activity gave everyone time to bond, reflect, and enjoy the calm of Parvati Valley before returning to the resort for some well-earned relaxation.

Evening Festivities and Team Building

Our evening at North Deodar Camps was unforgettable. The resort’s package included a delicious spread of veg and non-veg snacks (two varieties each), soups, and a lavish dinner served alongside a bonfire and excellent music. The BYOB policy let us bring our own alcoholic beverages, while the resort provided chilled soft drinks. HR organized fun team building activities, with a few colleagues bagging surprise winners’ gifts. Later, the dance floor came alive with a lively DJ, and the buffet dinner (with veg and non-veg options) kept everyone satisfied all evening.

Accommodation and Late-Night Bonding

We booked triple and quad-sharing deluxe rooms as well as adventure camps, which turned out to be a fantastic choice—especially for the guys! After music paused at 10:30 pm, many of us gathered around the bonfire under the starlit sky and strummed acoustic guitars. Listening to the gentle roar of the Parvati river made this night truly magical.

Soothing Morning by the Riverside

At dawn, a few of us joined a serene riverside walk as the sun rose over the valley—an experience that felt straight out of a wellness retreat. The peaceful chirping of birds and hot tea by the water started the day just right. North Deodar’s staff handled every special request with genuine hospitality, making us feel at home throughout our stay.
